9th – 12th Grade Fall Retreat
September 30 – October 2, 2011
All high school students are welcomed to join the STS staff and adult volunteers for one of our favorite trips of the year. This year we’ll be staying at Horn’s Creek Resort on the Ocoee River in Tennessee.
Are you interested in learning how to have Christ-centered relationships? If so, this weekend will be perfect for you! We will be diving into how to have an intimate relationship with Christ and how that relationship should overflow into our relationships with others. Along with profound teaching we will have worship and a weekend full of activities such as paintball, ropes course and the blob!
Schedule: All students must come to COTA Friday afternoonat 5:00 pm for sign in.We’ll return to COTA Sunday afternoon by 3:00 pm for pick-up.

All 7th – 8th Grade students are welcomed to join Bill, Anna and our STS volunteers for this year’s Fall Retreat at Horn’s Creek Resort in Ocoee, Tennessee!

5th-6th Grade Fall Radiate Weekend
October 14th-15th, 2011
All 5th & 6th grade students are welcomed to join us for Radiate Weekend!. This will be an exciting time of fellowship and discipleship focused on John 14:6. We will kick off the weekend with dinner, games and a large group worship service. Students will stay one night in host homes with other students of the same grade and gender and return to their homes on Saturday evening.

All COTA families with children (little ones – high school) are the VIP guests at this event. There will be activities for all ages. Dinner will be provided (hamburgers, hot dogs, chips) or you may bring your own tailgate picnic.

5th-6th Grade Atlanta Mission Project
JULY 18th- 21st 2011
Join Mark, Anna, volunteers and your friends for a wonderful opportunity to live out your faith as you serve and love others in our city in the name of Jesus! We will partner with two Atlanta-based ministries (Resource Service Ministries and My Sister’s House) for day service projects and we will enjoy a time of fellowship at Stone Mountain Park on Wednesday evening.
Important Information
Resource Service Ministries is a ministry that works with elderly widows. My Sister’s House provides shelter for homeless women and their children. Participants will be involved in scraping & painting a home, doing yard work with RSM and they will assist children in learning and sorting clothes for My Sister’s House.
On Wednesday we will return to the Church for dinner and Hour of Power. Immediately after Hour of Power we will depart to Stone Mountain to attend the Laser show. We will return to COTA and stay overnight.
Who can participate in the Atlanta Missions Project?
Current 5th and 6th grade students (2010-2011 school year)
Total Cost = $80.00 (Includes breakfast, transportation, Wednesday night dinner and Stone Mountain Laser Show)
Lunch is not included on a daily basis. Students will need to pack a lunch for each day.

7th-8th Houseboat
7th – 8th grade students spend a week with STS staff and volunteers on Lake Lanier!

We’re renting Houseboats on Lake Lanier for a week! Its going to be a great time of fun on the lake as well as fellowship as believers. All current 7th-8th grade students (2010-2011 school year) are welcome to join!

STS “Bass & Blast”
All STS (5th-12th grade) guys and dads are welcome to join the staff guys for a few days of outdoor fun.
Come join the STS leaders for a guys retreat at Pinewood Plantation near Albany, GA. We will be fishing on a private lake, trap shooting on a lighted range and enjoying the South Georgia outdoors. We will look at Biblical manhood while allowing plenty of free time to play and relax. This is designed to be a father/son retreat. Students who are not able to bring a father are encouraged to bring another male leader from their life.
Bed space is limited so sign up fast!
Your $75 includes meals and a limited number of shells and clays.
Please bring your fishing poles. All adults that are interested in bringing a shotgun please inform the STS staff.

We’re going to Berry College in Rome, GA where we’ll enjoy awesome recreation activities, a tea-room luncheon, nightly worship, and much more! 2011 CrossWalk Spring Retreat

Crosswalk Spring Retreat
At WhiteWater Express in Ocoee, TN
Friday, April 29th – Sunday, May 1st
Join Mark, Anna and the adult volunteers for one amazing trip. We will be going to Whitewater Express’s camp at the Ocoee River in Tennessee. We will have great worship, challenging teaching with the theme “For God’s Fame” and a weekend full of great fun activities like paintball, horseback riding, ropes course, mountain-biking, giant swing and of course, white water rafting the Nantahala River! This is a great trip to bring friends on too!
