We are bringing back our Summer Nights Bible Study! This year we will be going through the book of Proverbs. Students will gather in the Loft at 5pm to go through the study. At 5:40pm we will break for pizza & games.
It is our prayer that over the course of the study students will learn the tools they need to study the Bible on their own. Our focus will be on how to read the text in its context, comprehending the text, interpreting the text and how to correctly apply the text. We desire to teach students good Bible study habits that they can apply for the years to come.

Students are invited to stay after VBS for an afternoon of lunch and games at COTA. All students are welcome to join us even if they are not participating in VBS that week.

Students will be serving as camp counselors with children of incarcerated parents. Students will be sharing the gospel with their cabin, leading their group in lessons, as well as camp activities and games. There is an interview process with Camp Hope. This will be a great opportunity for families to learn more about what the school year will look like, hear from our new STS Director, Blake Thaxter, and hear the heart and vision behind STS. 5th grade families are invited to stay after the Family Meeting for an overview of what STS will look like for upcoming 5th grade students. It will be a great opportunity for parents and students to hear what STS is all about. The meeting will be held in the STS Loft directly after the family meeting.

We are heading to an incredible Whitewater Express camp in Ocoee, Tennessee! We will have a wonderful weekend filled with teaching, fellowship with friends, a selection of activities to choose from and the wonderful experience of rafting down the Nantahala River!

5th-7th Grade students are invited to join us for our Fall Getaway on Saturday, November 5th from 10:30am-6:00pm!
Students will head to the church for a devotional and lunch. Then we will head out to Uncle Shucks Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch. Activities include - 15 Acre Corn Maze, Corn Cannon, Wagon Rides, Tire Mountain, a Jump Pad & More! We will spend the afternoon there and stop at RaceTrac on the way back home for a snack.
Registration costs $10. (If students want a snack at RaceTrac on the way home they will need to bring money with them.) Students must register by Wednesday, November 2nd.
